FUNDING: SCHOLARSHIPS / BACS-TAIWAN STUDENTSHIPS / RESEARCH
The AHRC and the ESRC are the UK's main national bodies offering grants for postgraduate study. Many of these grants are offered through individual universities. The AHRC and ESRC also, with HEFCE, support centres such as the BICC and WREAC which fund some doctoral scholarships. The CCK Foundation also offers doctoral study awards. In addition, see the Great Britain-China Educational Trust.
