ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM

2010 Conference Programme

The British Association for Chinese Studies holds an annual conference at a different British centre for Chinese Studies each year. Attendance is open to all, with a small surcharge for non-BACS members. The BACS Annual General Meeting for members and other scholars interested in Chinese studies is always held in conjunction with the annual conference.

2010 Conference Call for Papers

The BACS Annual Conference welcomes international and UK based participants, both members and non-members. Typically the conference includes distinguished keynote speakers in plenary sessions, specialist panels and postgraduate student sessions. We welcome both panel submissions and individual papers. See links below for details of past conferences.

The 2010 Annual Conference will be held on September 8-9 at the University of Bristol in conjunction with the Centre for East Asian Studies.
