ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM / CONFERENCE CALENDAR
ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM
The British Association for Chinese Studies (BACS) holds an annual conference at a different British centre for Chinese Studies each year. The BACS Annual General Meeting (AGM) for members and other scholars interested in Chinese studies is held in conjunction with the annual conference.
The BACS Annual Conference welcomes international and UK-based participants, including BACS members and non-members. BACS members are eligible for a discounted registration fee. Typically, the conference includes distinguished keynote speakers in plenary sessions and specialist panels. We welcome both panel and individual paper submissions. See links below for details of past conferences.
The 2014 Annual Conference will be held at Newcastle University, in conjunction with the Newcastle Confucius Institute, from the 3rd - 5th September 2014.
