ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND AGM

The British Association for Chinese Studies holds an annual conference at a different British centre for Chinese Studies each year. Attendance is open to all, with a small surcharge for non-BACS members. The BACS Annual General Meeting for members and other scholars interested in Chinese studies is always held in conjunction with the annual conference.

The BACS Annual Conference welcomes international and UK based participants, both members and non-members. There are generally distinguished keynote speakers in plenary sessions, specialist panels and postgraduate student sessions. See the left frame for details of past conferences.
